I Know

end the stigma

I know what it feels like to want to die.

To have no hope. To have no clear reason to keep on living. To feel the heavy weight of the daily struggle. To feel like life is so much harder than it should be. To have your head constantly filled with negative thoughts.

Pain. Anguish. Despair. Loneliness.

I know what it feels like to love being alive.

To look forward to each new day. To find joy in the simple things. To be grateful for each moment. To discover what passions feed your soul. To not dwell on the past, but realize that you wouldn’t be where you are today without having gone through the struggle.

Happiness. Love. Gratitude. Hope.

Never give up.

“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.”

-Albert Camus
